The AI Exchange Rate
Every AI company has its own currency, and the rates keep moving. This tool turns them into things you already budget for: staff, finished jobs and people's time.

Meet your new hires
AI models come in three levels, just like staff. You pay them per finished job, like a freelancer, not per hour.
Rate board
What one finished job costs on each model, in euro.
AI vs a person vs a person with AI
The AI's bill is small. The real cost is the time someone spends briefing and checking it. The exchange rate shows what every euro (or pound) spent on a person working alone becomes when they work with AI. Click a department to open or close it.
Budget planner
Answer two questions and get a yearly AI budget you can take to your CEO or board.
1. Who's on the team?
Add each department that will use AI and how many people it has.
2. How much will they use AI?

Which AI does the work
Share of the work going to each level. Most teams do best with mostly graduates and interns.

How the maths works
Tokens are the units AI companies charge in. Roughly, 1,000 tokens is about 750 words. Reading (input) is cheaper than writing (output).
AI cost of a job = (input tokens × input price + output tokens × output price) × the redrafts-and-thinking allowance, converted from US dollars.
Review cost = review minutes × the reviewer's hourly rate. This is staff time you already pay for, so the planner shows it separately from cash spend.
Token counts per job are estimates. Each AI company counts tokens slightly differently (the “token ratio” column adjusts for this). Prices change often; every price shows its source and the date it was checked.
